Summary
Craig McConnon is a London based DJ with over 15 years experience. He is now based in London, UK but has DJed in a number of different countries including USA, Mexico, Hong Kong, France and Italy. He has DJed at all kind of different events including weddings, corporate do's, clubs and party nights and Christmas parties. He also provides full lighting services, smoke machines and has a highly specialised team who can accommodate all party requests
The Brief
We were approached by Craig McConnon in late 2017 with a brief where he wanted to increase his online exposure. He was relatively unknown on the Internet and did not even have a website. The brief was to build the client a website and to get him listed on every website available and to dramatically increase his brand exposure. He wanted a modern, responsive website and wanted to be listed in Google as well as on all review based websites.
Our Approach
Our strategy was to sit down with the client to fully understand his goals. We first designed a website to his exact requirements which we first created in PSD format. Once he signed off on the website, we coded the website in HTML as he wanted a website that would be fast and easy to programme. We also wrote most of the content on the website for the client too. Once the website was approved, we made it live and started the online marketing. We got the client listed in Google and start a full SEO and ORM campaign to get the client as much brand exposure as possible. We also carried out paid press releases too to increase his exposure with newspapers and magazines too.
The Result
When you type the word "Craig McConnon" into Google, he dominates the rankings. At the time we started, there were other people called "Craig McConnon" in Google.co.uk. He has now displaced them and he sits comfortable in most of the positions across the first 5 pages in Google. His reputation has soared and now gets a large number of bookings directly online and he now gets a huge number of referrals as existing clients can show his new website to their friends, colleagues and family members. All in all, he is a very happy client.
